Aventine Hill

Finding of Rome- This hill was where Remus made his home. It is also where Cacus had his cave and where Hercules killed him because Cacus stole Hercules's cattle. Aventine Hill did not become part of Rome until Ancus Marcius who was the fourth king or Rome had it become part of Rome. It has always been a residential part for the lower class citizens of Rome.
